ABOUT ME
I began storytelling as a child but didn't take up writing until I was 13. After that, there was no stopping me!

Growing up reading everything but especially fantasy, I loved everything about books. Lacking the confidence to send my books to a publisher, I instead discovered the world of Kindle and decided that was a real option. The Stone in the Sword title came to me one day and within 72 hours, it was written. A few months later, I wrote The Island of the Mist. I really struggled with the third book, only knowing what I was going to call it, so turned my attention to an adult book I had been wanting to write for some time.
I live in Argyll in Scotland, one of the most beautiful areas I have ever seen (I may be biased, as I am from here). After a stint at the University of Edinburgh, I moved to the Highlands with my now husband and our 2 cats.
We moved back to Argyll and our son came along shortly after.
In 2014 both my husband and I felt the need to do more for our local community and became involved in our community council and a few other community/charitable based groups.
In that time I have learned a great deal more about my local community than I ever thought possible. Onwards and upwards!
